Marketplace Mission in a Tanked Economy

Right now the church is changing in ways we can see and feel but also in ways we can’t. The changes are so systemic, most are only looking above the surface of the water.

How can we deliver the sermon via zoom cast? How can we equip our existing small groups to do a little better out in the neighborhoods? How do we get the government loans so we can keep everyone on staff?

These are important considerations but there may be more below the surface.

What if the church was a completely free venture? What should and can we now do with all this extra free time for the sake of the kingdom? What is this field ripe for right now?

How do we equip a decentralized movement instead of just holding together a consumer country club?

It is to this end Hugh Halter and Taylor McCall will guide our time. Both are practitioners in doing church as a kingdom ecosystem made up of business and neighborhood communities.

Meet Hugh Halter

Hugh Halter In 2016 Hugh and his family all moved to Alton, IL. This was the first time they moved without knowing what they would do.
