Covid19 has been tough on church worship services, but it has also exposed something beautiful—the Church can gather without walls.
When you pare down the Church to its essentials, something potent is discovered at its core. Could it be time to re-explore the DNA of the church when it’s decentralized, when it takes on the form of a grassroots local movement?
How might we organize using movemental practices that release the People of God for ordinary mission, social justice, and healing in their neighborhoods?
Let’s unpack the 5 Essential Marks of a Church Without Walls in this 2 part series.

Emmanuel Mustapha was raised a Muslim. Devoted and serious, he involved himself in Islamic mysticism. As a professional truck driver he drove all the trade routes in West Africa. But on December 9, 1991, as he puts it, “Jesus came into my truck and asked me to follow Him.” Emmanuel Mustapha, or “Muss” as he is affectionately known, has now helped start over 600 missional churches in Ghana and has established the Ghana School of Ministry which is a decentralized pastor’s training school. Muss also understood from the start that he must address the total needs of people, believing in a holistic Gospel. He noticed the incredible number of children whose parents had died, so he built an orphanage. He also noticed the need for education and built a school. He has pioneered good will between Christians and Muslims in Yendi to acts of kindness and enlisting Muslims together for the common good. Muss is passionate about movemental church planting and is a Coach with the V3 Movement.
