About this Immersion

In partnership with The V3 Movement and Reliant Mission: In order to advance the mission of God, financial resources are a necessity. While there are many philosophies and strategies surrounding the topic of support raising, there is a significant shift mentally and in our hearts from typical fundraising to building a ministry team. It is easy to view support raising as a means to an end but the reality is it is a ministry in itself. The Apostle Paul knew this and viewed his supporters as partners with him. During our time we will look at developing a Ministry Team vs. Fundraising. What is it, different ways to approach it, and what are some practical tools to navigate through during your support raising journey.

The Flow (Wed, Oct 14-Nov 4th, 2-3pm ET):*

• Week 1 – Foundations of Support Raising – An introduction into ministry team development and biblical support for the process.
• Week 2 – Invitation into Partnership – How you invite others into a sustainable partnership?
• Week 3 – Financial Realities – The current financial landscape of new churches.
• Week 4 – How do I start – What are the first steps that I need to be thinking about in support raising? How do I start? How do I cultivate partnerships?

The Coaches

CJ WHITE was born and raised in Scottsdale, AZ. He received his B.A. in Commercial Advertising at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. After being led to pursue vocational ministry in 2013 CJ attended the Church Planting Residency at Austin Stone Community Church. From there he co-planted New City Church in Longview with a desire to see a multiplication of disciples made and church planting churches started.

Over the last year with Reliant Mission CJ has served as the US Churches and Ministries Team Lead. He has been still pursuing his desire for multiplication through training and coaching church planters in sustaining long-term health through the ministry of building a support team. CJ has been married to his best friend and wife Kelly for 16 years. The Lord has blessed them with two kids, Naya (12) and Reef (10).

Jenni Saniuk currently works as a Program Administrator for Reliant Missions under their Fixed Term Team (Residencies and Interns). She specializes in structural development, support raising coaching and management, and thrives in connecting the dots for both residents and supervisors alike. Her heart and desire are to help people during hard moments in life overcome them and strive towards a heart for Jesus. Her favorite things to do in her free time are to read or do something creative like painting or gardening. Currently Jenni lives in Austin, Texas, where she got her bachelors in Communication and Media from the University of Texas. She is married to her best friend, Jeff, who is a Nurse Practitioner fighting the good fight against Covid19. They have two cats that they tolerate and are hoping to start a family in the next few years.
