A.J. will be presenting these important workshops in Philadelphia this year:
Sabbath Rhythms for Lifelong Ministry
In this workshop A.J. Swoboda will explore the biblical foundations of Sabbath, and the far-reaching implications rest has on our minds, bodies, families, and ministry. Attention will then be turned to particular challenges that those in pastoral ministry face, and how Sabbath as part of a weekly rhythm is key to sustainable long-term ministry.
Dark Night of the Leadership Soul
In this workshop A.J. will explore how all leaders in the church will experience great pain and hardship. A.J. Swoboda will teach on how hardship, whether it be resentment, heartbreak, loss, depression, or desperation, may draw us closer to the hope that is found in Christ.
